Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes how Lumy Commerce LLC ("Lumy") and its portfolio brands handle refunds, returns, and cancellations for purchases processed under "LUMY COMMERCE LLC" as the merchant of record.

1. General Refund Terms

This policy applies to all purchases made through Lumy's portfolio brands where the charge appears as "LUMY COMMERCE LLC" on your card statement.

Each portfolio brand may have additional brand-specific terms (for example, restrictions on returning opened fragrance bottles for hygienic reasons) which will be clearly presented at the time of purchase on the brand's website. Brand-level terms apply alongside this policy.

2. Return Window

You may request a return within 14 calendar days from the date you (or a person authorized by you) received the order. After 14 days, returns are accepted only at our sole discretion.

3. Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • In their original, unused, undamaged condition
  • In the original packaging with all accessories, labels, and documentation
  • Not classified as non-returnable for hygiene or regulatory reasons (specific to each brand and clearly indicated at time of purchase)

Items that show signs of use, damage not caused by us, missing parts, or alterations may be refused or refunded only partially.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase
  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Opened or used fragrance bottles, cosmetics, or wellness products (for hygienic reasons)
  • Digital products and gift cards

5. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Email the relevant portfolio brand's customer service or contact us at billing@lumycommerce.com with your order number, the items you wish to return, and the reason for return.
  2. We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions, including the return address and any required documentation.
  3. Pack the items securely in their original packaging.
  4. Ship the package to the address provided. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service — we are not responsible for items lost in return transit.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless:

  • The item received is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect
  • The item does not match the description on the website
  • We explicitly agree in writing to cover return shipping for the specific case

In such cases, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs upon receipt of the proof of payment.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 3 business days.

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing time depends on your card issuer or payment provider, but is typically 5–10 business days.

The refund amount will reflect:

  • The full price paid for the returned items
  • Less any non-refundable shipping fees (original shipping is refunded only if the entire order is returned, or in the case of our error)
  • Less any applicable restocking fee, where clearly disclosed at the time of purchase

8. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest method is to return the original item for a refund and place a new order separately. If the item you want is back in stock or available in a different size/variant, we will assist with an exchange where logistically feasible.

9. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery at billing@lumycommerce.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the item and its packaging showing the damage or defect
  • A brief description of the issue

We will arrange for a replacement, repair, or full refund (including original and return shipping) at no cost to you.

10. Order Cancellations

You may cancel an order before it has been shipped by contacting billing@lumycommerce.com as soon as possible. Once the order has been shipped, the standard return process applies.

11. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. To exercise this right, send a clear statement of withdrawal to billing@lumycommerce.com. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of our receipt of the returned goods.

This statutory right is in addition to, and not in place of, the return rights described in this policy.

12. Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer, please contact us at billing@lumycommerce.com. We are committed to resolving legitimate refund and billing concerns quickly — typically within 24 hours. Direct contact is faster than the chargeback process and protects your card issuer relationship.
